Red Thong In Divorce Court

Here's a real winner from the Poor Life Choices collection by Naughty Nailz.

I hear they wanted to call it "Lost Any Chance at Alimony and Served Thirty Days for Contempt of Court," but it wouldn't fit on the bottle.

  1. I love you. I think any polish by Naught Nailz is worthy of a stupid polish name post. >.<

  2. The POOR LIFE CHOICES collection???? WTF?

    Very appealing. Not.

Next up - the "It's not my fault, I had a poor background, what d'you expect?" collection. Duh.

  3. What's with the little white and blue stars near the red polish? Are they ON the fingers (if so, one appears to be falling off) or are they Photoshopped in or something? And if the latter...um...why?

  4. Arrianne--Thanks! I agree, it's hard to be selective when it comes to Naughty Nailz. Perhaps one day we'll exhaust the collection!

Jaljen--OK, you got me, that part was my invention. It just feels like the collection this should be in! Actually it's from the "X" collection (their collections go from X to XX to XXX in order of "naughtiness"). So really I am doing them a favor because the actual names are worse! Anyone else in favor of calling them ten, twenty, and thirty to subvert the point?

Inky--You mean you don't have star decals all over your hands? You are SO behind the times. I think those were Photoshopped in by Lacquer Laine so nobody can take her pictures without the identifying watermark. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?), Naughty Nailz has yet to become a huge presence in the nail polish world so there aren't a lot of pictures for me to choose from.

  5. I second the motion to call the Naughty Nailz collections ten, twenty, and thirty! I also get the feeling there will be more posts about this brand of polish in the near future.

  6. It's funny to laugh at names like Jizz or Dickweed, but I'm beginning to think it's an insult to our intelligence! Women aren't bimbos! Polish names are becoming increasingly trashy. They're just trying too hard to associated polish with sex, like Lippmann's Makin' Whoopee. :(

  7. Seems to me it doesn't matter what color your thong is in divorce court...no jury.
Um, nail polish peeps, if you want to be all "women power" with your vanity product, maybe you could skip the sex-as-a-weapon nonsense in the naming process.
    Maybe.

  8. Your humor and writing has made my day. My friend sent me this and I must say this is my first Blog I've ever read, and I'm glad I held out. Sucking up? No reason to.

  12. I think they are kind of funny and creative. What is everyone bashing them for? It's just nail polish...

  13. I guess if trashy and classless, not to mention sexist and obscene is your idea of funny, then you probably do find it amusing. Of course some people like gang rape and snuff films. Most of the people here however seem to find the stereotyping of women as venal and/or good for one thing to be offensive and a distinct sign of a lack of intelligence, creativity and humor. It's not about the nail polish, it's about a growing lack of respect for women.

This verification generator isn't much better than N. Nailz. Lionstud???
